Vintage Tommy Hilfiger Shirts Case Study

Vintage tommy hilfiger shirts

These Tommy Hilfiger Shirts come in a bale of x50 and includes a mix of long sleeve and short sleeve shirts in different colours & sizes.

Where I Got Them From

This is my first time of buying clothing from a Wholesaler.

I bought these from Vintage Wholesale Supply Ltd.

I placed my order on 11 February 2025.  This was as a pre-order with delivery expected sometime between 15th-30th April

I bought a bale of x50 Tommy Hilfiger Shirts which cost me £50.00 with Free Shipping

These were reduced from £180

At the same time I also bought a bale of x15 Vintage Original Flying Jackets which cost me £135.00 with Free Shipping

These were also reduced from £180

Before I paid at check-out I signed up to Vintage Wholesale Supply’s Newsletter, which had an opt-in offer to receive a discount code for £25 off my first order.

This is a fairly standard practice of buying anything online, so be sure to take a look at the website before you spend more than you need to

How I Listed Them

As this is a pre-order and I haven’t received them yet I will update this section once the shirts arrive and I have listed them.

I will likely make a video to show me unboxing them, and then once I have listed them I will share my results

My Sales Expectations

So these Shirts cost me £50 for x50 which gives a unit price of £1

Before I bought them I looked at the sold listings on eBay and most were selling between £15 – £20

I think there’s a strong possibility that there will be a big influx of these shirts as other people will have bought the bales too.

When I placed the order there were Grade A and Grade B bales available at the time, for the pre-order delivery in April. I bought Grade A

Since I placed my order at Vintage Wholesale Supply and at the time of writing, 9 May 2025, there are currently NIL bales available of the Grade A

In all likelihood I will re-assess the pricing when the shirts arrive and I can see what condition they are in and also see what the prices are in April

It’s important to be flexible and adjust accordingly

Customer Feedback & Questions

I will update this section once the shirts arrive and I have listed them.
